  9. About Ircle
  10.  
  11. Ircle is a Macintosh program to use IRC (Internet Relay Chat). IRC enables
  12. you to talk, in realtime,  to other Internet users around the world. IRC is
  13. organized in channels on a specific topic. You can also talk privately with
  14. someone. On average there are about 50000 users and 20000 channels on IRC
  15. worldwide.

  18. System Requirements

  20. Any Macintosh or Power Macintosh with System version 7.0 or higher
  21. installed. (System 8.0 or higher and AppleScript recommended).
  22. MacTCP 2.0.x driver or Open Transport 1.1 or higher.
  23. An internet connection.
  24. Minimum 1.5Mb of free RAM, 2Mb recommended
  25.  
  26. Additional requirements:  Quicktime 2.x (3.0 is recommended) and a sound
  27. application (e.g. SoundApp) to play .wav files.

  29. This client has been tested with EFNet, Dalnet, Undernet, Newnet and almost
  30. all other IRC networks. This client is fully compatible with the RFC1459
  31. (IRC) & RFC 1430 (Ident service) documents and makes use of the
  32. enhancements as seen in Undernet, Dalnet and other irc servers/networks.
  33. We cannot guarantee that all commands listed will work on all servers. You
  34. might encounter some servers that dont recognize certain commands on the
  35. net.

  110. This is a legal agreement between you and MacResponse covering your use of
  111. Ircle.  Be sure to read the following agreement before using the software.
  112. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO THE TERMS OF THIS AGREEMENT, DO NOT USE THE SOFTWARE
  113. AND DESTROY ALL COPIES OF IT.

  115. This copyright software is distributed as shareware.  You may use this
  116. software without any charge for 30 days and then decide to keep it or not.
  117. If you pay the shareware fee you will receive a personal license code that
  118. allows you to continue to use the software. You may distribute the software
  119. to others, but you may not distribute your personal code to others. The
  120. software is owned by MacResponse and is protected by Dutch copyright laws
  121. and international treaty provisions.  Therefore, you must treat the
  122. software like any other copyrighted material (e.g. a book or musical
  123. recording).

  126. MacResponse.  We are more than happy to allow you to distribute our
  127. software, but you must first have a license to do so.  Contact MacResponse

  141. consequential damages that result from the use or inability to use the
  142. software or related documentation, even if MacResponse has been advised of

  146. any reason a court of competent jurisdiction finds any provision of this
  147. Agreement, or portion thereof, to be unenforceable, that provision of the

  149. effect the intent of the parties, and the remainder of this Agreement shall
  150. continue in full force and effect.
